Bruce from Executive Excellence Events in Brisbane will talk about the upcoming 100km WW1 hiking challenge. - 4 sections - relay teams or individual.
Hear about how this iconic Queensland event is a walking journey of remembrance in group formation where mates will be tested side by side both physically and emotionally in this challenging 100 km trek through rugged terrain – it is not a race, but an experience.
Participants will carry a commemorative brick engraved with the name of one of the 6967 WW1 fallen soldiers who called Queensland home.
CJ who completed the challenge last year will present her preparation tips leading up to and on the day of the hike.
You will hear all about the importance of training, good nutrition, equipment needed, support team, footcare & how to fundraise.
At the end of this presentation I am sure some of us will be eager to make up a team for the next challenge
