Discovering Fungi on my hikes is one of my greatest joys. I am amazed at the different shapes and colors. I even have Fungi spotters - other hikers who keep their eye out for me. As I am hiking I will hear the call - 'Jan, come see this one!'

Apart from the enjoyment of finding fungi I also enjoy researching  and trying to identify the  different types eg 'Bracket, Coral.

I have even created a Facebook page 'Fungi Photography Fun' for everybody to share fungi photos or information. Check it out: '

Would love it if you could like the Facebook page and post any photos of fungi
